    Defect field guide
Hole: Missing patch of surface — you can see through it or it is empty.
Warping: A flat surface bends, bulges or dips.
Bad geometry (spikes): Sharp spikes, blobs or melted edges sticking out of a surface.
Missing surface: A wall or face of an object simply isn't there.
Blurred texture: Geometry is fine but the photo texture is smeared or low-resolution.
Misalignment (ghosting): Doubled edges — the same object appears twice, slightly offset.
